How requests work
What can I use requests for?
Anything you'd bring to the clergy: a baptism or chrismation, a wedding, a funeral or memorial, an appointment for confession, a pastoral visit or home blessing, a prayer request, an inquiry about becoming Orthodox — or anything else. Each one goes straight to the parish's clergy.
What happens after I send a request?
Your request lands in the parish's queue and you're given a short reference. Clergy follow up personally — usually within one business day. If your matter is urgent, please also contact the parish directly rather than waiting on the form.
Do I need an account?
No. Just leave your name and either an email or a phone number so the parish can reach you. If you're a signed-in parishioner, you can sign in first to keep your requests together and pick up the conversation later.
Is what I write kept private?
Your request is shared only with parish clergy and staff. Confession is held in the seal. For a prayer request you can choose whether it stays private with the priest or is shared on the parish prayer list read at the Liturgy.
