How is my donation processed?
Your gift is taken by card through Stripe, the same secure checkout used by countless nonprofits. When you press "Make an offering" you're handed to Stripe's own hosted page to enter your card — the parish site never sees or stores your card number.
Your donation is charged directly to your parish's own account, so the money goes to the parish, not to a middle-man.
Can I give once, or set up a recurring gift?
Both. Choose One-time for a single offering, or Monthly to set up a recurring gift that runs automatically on the same date each month.
You can change or stop a recurring gift at any time — manage it from your member account, or just ask the parish office and they'll take care of it.
Can I choose what my gift supports?
Yes. Use the Designation menu to direct your offering — General fund, Building, Memorial, or whatever funds your parish has set up. Your choice is recorded with the gift so the parish can steward it accordingly.
If you're giving through a campaign page, your gift is counted toward that campaign's goal automatically.
Will I get a receipt? Is my gift tax-deductible?
A receipt is emailed to you automatically once the payment goes through.
Whether a gift is tax-deductible depends on your parish's own nonprofit status, which the parish controls. Many parishes can also provide a year-end giving statement. For anything tax-related, check with your parish office.
The giving form says online giving isn’t set up yet.
Some parishes haven't finished connecting online payments yet. Until then, you can still give by check or in the offering basket on Sunday — your offering counts just the same, and online giving will open on this page as soon as it's ready.
